Double Oscar-winning actor Anthony Hopkins is launching the NFT collection “The Eternal” this Thursday in collaboration with Orange Comet. Thus, the cinema giant joins the list of artists who have been won by Web3 technologies.

The legend of cinema Anthony Hopkins shown publicly for a few months its appeal to non-fungible tokens (NFT) on Twitter. He now immerses himself a little more in this universe with the “The Eternal” collection, powered by the Web3 Orange Comet studio:

Announced since last August, this Thursday at 9 p.m. Paris time will allow investors who have won their place on the “admission list” to cash in the 1,000 NFTs in this collection. The latter will feature 10 unique animated copies and 990 other unique images.
The 84-year-old actor, too painter since 2005, qualifies non-fungible tokens as a “new web”. It was during the movie Zero Contact, released in NFT and shot remotely during the Covid-19 pandemic, that he learned more about blockchain technologies.
This collection is based on the theme archetypes of psychiatrist Carl Gustav Jungo. An archetype is a psychological concept that is supposed to define our way of thinking.

The advantages of the collection
Among the advantages offered by this collection, we find in particular: a Zoom interview with Anthony Hopkins, individually or in groups according to the NFT. There is also a signed art book with hundreds of paintings and drawings by the artist. Since these benefits are limited, they depend on luck as well as the type of non-fungible token obtained.
In addition, 100 randomly selected buyers receives an additional personalized NFT, with a message from Anthony Hopkins. The lucky ones can buy up to three copies of the collection, and the coin’s price is set at 0.25 ETH.
